Rail Projects

Keyman are currently providing staffing solutions for Network Rail’s Control Period 6 (CP6). This strategic business plan outlines all rail projects, works and improvements to be delivered between 2019 and 2024, as well as delivering to other major rail schemes currently, and in previous years including;

HS2

HS2 will be the new high-speed backbone of Britain’s rail network and directly connect 8 of 10 of Britain’s largest cities and their regions

This is Europe’s largest infrastructure project. The build for the whole line will span 15 years and the railway itself will be in operation well into the next century.

Crossrail

Crossrail was responsible for the construction and delivery of the Elizabeth line. The Elizabeth line is a new railway for London and the South East. Running from Reading and Heathrow in the West, through 42km of new tunnels under Central London to Shenfield and Abbey Wood in the East.

As part of Network Rail's Railway Upgrade Plan a £133m was invested for the Gospel Oak to Barking Electrification project which electrified the 14 mile line in the Anglia Route.

Channel Tunnel

Working from both the English and French sides of the Channel and using 11 tunnel boring machines (TBM’s) this project commenced in 1988 and was officially opened in 1994, Keyman established an office in Kent specifically to deliver the best possible service for Clients and Candidates.
