Our client has a vacancy for a Carpenter Multi-Tradesman to work in Chelmsford/Thurrock. Initially you will be paid weekly CIS via the agency, with the opportunity to join the maintenance company direct on a full-time permanent basis after 3 months.

Hour rate for first three months via CIS - £16 to £19 per hour negotiable.

Salary after three months £34,000 - £38,000 per annum negotiable.

Our client is looking for an excellent all round Carpenter Multi Tradesman with the relevant qualifications.

A High standard of workmanship, productivity levels and ability to provide excellent customer service always is essential.

To be successful in the role you will be an excellent communicator with the ability to problem solve, multitask, and work to tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake repair/renewal works across several trades such as plastering, carpentry, plumbing
Undertake bathroom and kitchen fittings amongst other works.
Receive instructions from the supervisor and carry out repairs to occupied and unoccupied.
Work in partnership with other operatives to complete works.
Complete work sheets after each job.
Requirements:

Very good all round Multi Tradesman with Carpentry as core trade.
Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations.
Hold relevant training such as Working from Heights, Manual Handling, Asbestos Awareness.
NVQ qualification. EG City and Guilds or NVQ.

Undertaking repair/renewal works

Advising Supervisor in a timely manner where other trades are required

Working solely on certain tasks

Working in partnership with other operatives to complete certain tasks

Completing daily work sheets detailing work undertaken and materials used

Working in a timely and productive manner to complete programme tasks

Providing excellent customer service to residents and clients.

Must Have:

Full UK driving licence
Own Tools for trades,
