About the Role:
Keyman Personnel is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a renowned client in the cladding industry for a Design Manager to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead and manage the design function, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, innovative, and cost-effective cladding solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the entire design process from concept to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
• Manage and mentor a team of designers, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative and creative working environment.
• Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to understand project requirements and ensure designs meet their expectations and industry standards.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and approve design drawings and documents, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards.
• Lead the implementation of innovative design practices and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Conduct regular project reviews and provide feedback to improve design processes and outcomes.

Key Requirements:
• Proven experience in a Design Manager role within the construction or cladding industry.
• Strong knowledge of cladding systems, materials, and relevant building regulations.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• A degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
